Job Description

We are seeking a (Senior) Manager in Insurance Transformation for our Consulting Team
 
We are looking for a (Senior) Manager to join our established and growing Management & Regulatory Consulting practice. In this role, you will work on transformation projects within the Insurance sector, with a focus on new business models and tech enabled change. Our clients include leading insurers and banks in Luxembourg and across Europe.

What you will be working on

1. Strategic Client Advisory and Project Leadership

Lead High-Impact Transformation Initiatives - Oversee and direct complex, large-scale transformation projects for top-tier clients in the insurance sector with a strong focus on technology-enhanced strategies.

Set up new (re)insurance entities - Manage the end-to-end process, including regulatory applications, governance structuring, and operational implementation.

Cultivate Strategic Client Partnerships - Serve as a primary point of contact, aligning consulting solutions with clients’ long-term objectives, ensuring seamless delivery, and exceeding client expectations.

2. Team Leadership, Development, and Expertise Sharing

Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration - Lead interdisciplinary teams within KPMG, leveraging specialized insights from various fields to provide integrated and innovative solutions tailored to complex client challenges.

Mentor and Develop Talent - Actively coach and mentor team members, facilitating professional growth, promoting knowledge sharing, and fostering a high-performance culture within the consulting team.

3. Market Intelligence and Business Development

Shape Industry Insights and Best Practices - Lead research and analysis of evolving trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the insurance sector, providing clients with proactive and strategic insights.

Lead Business Development Initiatives - Spearhead client acquisition efforts, including proposal development, high-level networking, and thought leadership, to drive business growth and establish new client relationships.

What we look for

  • Experience: 5–7 years of experience (Manager)/8-10 years of experience (Senior Manager) in consulting, business analysis, or project management within the insurance sector, with a strong focus on tech-driven transformation projects.
  • Domain Expertise: In-depth knowledge of life/non-life/reinsurance, operations, business processes, leading insurance IT systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Leadership and Strategic Insight: Proven track record of managing complex projects in a consulting environment or an insurance company, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, presentation, and client management skills, with an ambition to drive results and an unwavering commitment to client success.
  • Languages: Fluency in French and English is required, with proficiency in Luxembourgish or German considered an asset.
  • Educational Background: A master’s degree in finance, economics, management, IT, engineering, or a related field.
