Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Manager / Manager to reinforce our Corporates, Industrials and Public Sector Consulting team, with a particular focus on Industrial and Manufacturing clients. 

Our Consulting practice is looking for experienced people with project management, business analysis, IT consulting and process analysis skills to join the team as from now to make a difference to our clients, people, and communities.

What you will be working on

  • You will support leading clients in the corporates, industrial and manufacturing markets in Luxembourg, including large international groups, national market players and family-owned businesses.
  • You will manage or support key workstreams within transformation projects that connect business priorities, finance requirements and technology-enabled change, helping clients improve performance, efficiency, controls and decision-making.
  • You will contribute to CFO Advisory projects, including finance function transformation, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cost analysis, performance management, working capital improvement, financial process optimisation and finance operating model design.
  • You will analyse, redesign and improve business and finance processes, operating models and service delivery models, with a focus on practical implementation, adoption and measurable business outcomes.
  • You will contribute to projects linked to industrial and manufacturing transformation, including process optimisation, cost efficiency, digitalisation, ERP or system-enabled change, data-driven performance improvement, business migrations, post-merger integration and organisational redesign.
  • You will help clients improve the way they manage operations, finance, governance, risks and controls, particularly in complex environments where business, technology, compliance and operational requirements intersect.
  • You will prepare and contribute to strategic reviews, business cases, financial analysis, target operating model design, project plans, solution selection processes and implementation roadmaps.
  • You will support clients in addressing major transformation topics such as supply chain resilience, cost optimisation, operational efficiency, margin improvement, digital transformation, sustainability, regulatory change and improved financial and operational reporting.
  • You will be exposed to senior decision makers and have extensive exchanges with different clients.
  • You will need to develop strong business relationships with colleagues and clients to ensure an efficient coordination and to maximize value creation.

What we look for

  • You hold a Master’s degree, ideally in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Industrial Management, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field.
  • You have 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in consulting, CFO Advisory, finance transformation, industrial transformation, manufacturing operations, business analysis, project management, process improvement or technology-enabled change.
  • You have a good understanding of the key challenges faced by industrial and manufacturing organisations, such as efficiency improvement, cost pressure, margin erosion, supply chain complexity, operational resilience, digitalisation, sustainability, asset-intensive operations, governance and internal controls.
  • You understand the role of the finance function in supporting business performance, including budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, cost control, working capital, KPI design, financial planning and analysis, and performance management.
  • You are able to take ownership of project workstreams, structure problems clearly, manage priorities and drive delivery in a client-facing environment.
  • You have strong project management skills and are comfortable coordinating stakeholders, preparing project plans, managing actions, tracking progress, identifying risks and ensuring timely delivery.
  • You display a positive and enthusiastic attitude and can work efficiently and accurately in a challenging, multi-disciplinary environment.
  • You are fluent in English and French or German. Any additional language such as Luxembourgish will be considered as an asset.
