Job Description
As a Junior Data Engineer, you will support the design, development and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and data platforms. You will work closely with Data Engineers, Data Analysts and Business teams to ensure reliable, secure and high-quality data is available for analytics and business operations.
What you will be working on
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Support data integration from multiple internal and external sources.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and improve data workflows.
- Ensure data quality, consistency and reliability.
- Assist in building and maintaining data models and databases.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts and stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
- Contribute to automation and continuous improvement of data processes.
- Produce technical documentation and follow data governance best practices.
What we look for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience (internships or academic projects accepted).
- Basic knowledge of SQL and Python.
- Familiarity with relational databases and data modeling concepts.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing principles.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of Git and version control.
- Curiosity, analytical mindset and willingness to learn modern data engineering technologies.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
