We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong technical expertise, business awareness, and a passion for innovation. If you enjoy solving complex problems, building data pipelines, and working in a collaborative environment, this role is made for you.
What you will be working on
As a Data Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and manage scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and the Azure ecosystem.
- Model and optimize data to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.
- Develop ETL/ELT processes (using notebooks, dataflows, etc.) to ensure efficient and timely data delivery.
- Integrate data services by leveraging Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and related tools.
- Document data sources and processes to ensure transparency and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn business requirements into robust, future-proof data solutions.
What we look for
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years in data engineering and business intelligence roles.
Technical skills:
- Programming: Python (PySpark focus), SQL (T-SQL & Spark SQL). Java or Scala is a plus.
- Data: Lakehouse, Data Warehouses, MS SQL in Azure.
- Tools: Microsoft Fabric (ideally DP-700 Fabric Data Engineer Associate certification), Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to both experts and non-experts.
