Job Description

 

As a Data Scientist, you will leverage advanced analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization techniques to enhance business teams in delivering data-driven insights to the management.

Working closely with business specialists, data engineers, and data solutions lead, the Data Scientist will develop innovative solutions that transform large and complex financial datasets into actionable intelligence, helping drive efficiency, compliance, and value creation.

What you will be working on

 

  • Build, validate, and maintain machine learning models for risk detection, anomaly identification, and process optimization.
  • Apply statistical techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and business insights.
  • Evaluate model performance and ensure explainability, transparency, and robustness of results.
  • Research and apply emerging AI and GenAI technologies relevant to KPMG services
  • Leverage on data centralization in Datalake / Microsoft Fabric to develop scalable data models
  • Help to optimize data quality rules and use predictive modeling to identify the potential optimization of the data organization.
  • Contribute to the development of reusable analytics assets and accelerators.
  • Stay current with developments in data science, AI, audit technology, and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation on all the processes set up in the data analysis rules.
  • Document methodologies, assumptions, and analytical procedures

What we look for

 

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Additional certifications in Data Science, AI, Cloud Technologies, or Analytics are considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Python and related libraries
  • Experience with SQL and large-scale data extraction and transformation.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Factory
