The Head of Risk and Compliance (Director) is responsible for the supervision and organization of these 2 activities within our PSF entity. He/she supervises the R&C team covering our central administration, transfer agent, data management activities and plays a deep role in our regulatory audits (excl. ISO27001 and ILNAS) as well as liaising with internal and external auditors. He/she maintains a strong relationship with all relevant regulatory bodies and authorities (i.e. CSSF).
What you will be working on
A KPMG Director typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
- Responsible for all audit planning (preparation and remediation);
- Participating in the strategic organizational shaping;
- Managing and overseeing the Compliance function in its coverage;
- Identifying and evaluation the Compliance Risks through the performance of Compliance Risk Assessments and dedicated AML Risk Assessment;
- Organizing, coordinating and structuring compliance-related monitoring;
- Ensuring the Company`s compliance framework is appropriate by focusing on aligning practices with regulatory and KPMG`s standards;
- Acting as an advisor to the “Gérants” while supporting the business by applying sound judgement, decisions and added-value recommendations;
- Ensuring implementation and adequate execution of new regulations by writing and maintaining detailed functional and technical documentation (policies and procedures);
- Negotiates and documents reliable processes with KPMG Luxembourg;
- Monitors and manages Regulatory & Compliance team;
- Works with the Head of Operations & Head of IT to identify business and technical requirement;
- Ensures recruitment in the team and coaching of team members.
- Assists with high severity requests or issues escalations as needed;
- On the business perspective acts as client advisor in terms of risk assessment and IT security relevant questions during job processing.
What we look for
- You obtained a master’s degree in Business Administration or Law
- You gained professional experience of 8-10 years in Compliance functions within a PSF or AIFM
- You gained an experience in auditing / testing existing controls designed to ensure regulatory compliance
- You have a good understanding of Luxembourg Law, regulations and circulars
- Besides your technical skills, you are client-focused and team-driven, you display a strong client centricity, people leadership, are a very curious and agile person, eager meet new challenges and to evolve on the path of lifelong learning,
- You possess excellent communication skills in English and French (German is considered as a strong asset),
- You have a positive and enthusiastic attitude and are able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
- You have leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
- You possess an innovative mindset and are eager to introduce technological solutions that transform and enhance the different internal process
