You will play a key role in managing audit engagements from planning to delivery while actively developing junior colleagues and strengthening client relationships.

What you will be working on

Audit delivery & technical responsibilities

  • Perform and review risk assessments, planning, testing strategies, analytical procedures and audit documentation
  • Ensure audit work complies with ISA, firm standards, and Luxembourg regulatory requirements (CSSF, IFRS, LUX GAAP depending on client)
  • Draft audit deliverables such as management letters, audit reports, findings and recommendations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodology, data-driven audit tools and automation

Leadership & coaching

  • Supervise, coach and develop junior team members (on-the-job learning, constructive feedback, knowledge sharing)
  • Review the work performed by team members and provide clear improvement guidance
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive team atmosphere

Client relationship and communication

  • Serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day client communication
  • Build trust-based relationships with client finance teams, administrators, service providers, and internal stakeholders
  • Proactively identify client needs and potential advisory opportunities

Project management & quality control

  • Manage engagement timelines, priorities, workloads and resources
  • Escalate issues effectively and propose pragmatic solutions
  • Contribute to audit efficiency, digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives

What we look for

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in external audit, ideally in financial services or asset management
  • Solid knowledge of audit processes, risk assessment and financial reporting principles
  • Experience with IFRS and/or Luxembourg GAAP (knowledge of consolidation and valuation methodologies is an asset)
  • Professional qualification completed or in progress (ACCA, CPA, Wirtschaftsprüfer, Réviseur d’Entreprises, etc.)
  • Ability to lead, delegate and coach while ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Fluent in German and English; French considered a strong advantage
