Join Our Team as an Internal Auditor!
At KPMG, we believe that effective auditing is essential for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our operations. As an Internal Auditor, you’ll play a pivotal role in conducting audits and compliance testing programs to ensure the effectiveness of control and governance processes within the firm. We’re looking for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven to join our team and make an impact.
What you will be working on
Audit Planning and Execution:
- Assist in planning and conducting audits and compliance testing programs under the guidance of the Internal Audit Team Leader.
- Participate in ongoing compliance monitoring and follow-up audits to assess improvements.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality work and effective communication throughout the audit process.
- Maintain open communication with the Internal Audit Team Leader and escalate issues as necessary.
Process Improvement:
- Identify weaknesses or inefficiencies in processes and contribute to recommendations for improvements.
- Support the team in data management and report development using data analytics tools.
Training and Development:
- Engage in training and development opportunities to enhance auditing skills and knowledge.
What we look for
- A Bachelor’s degree in Audit, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-7 years of experience in auditing or a related field; candidates with a background in audit will be strongly considered.
- Understanding of control and accounting procedures.
- Familiarity with KPMG GQRMM policies & procedures.
- Basic knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
- Proficiency in data analytics and report development.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a detail-oriented and organized approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset.
