Job Description

KPMG’s Global Mobility & People Services (GMPS) practice brings together a great variety of tax, technology, payroll, immigration, tax & HR advisory and mobile administration services to support companies in improving their business processes and allow their sustainable growth.

 

  • Executive Compensation matters : review, design, implementation and benchmark of executive compensation packages from an HR and tax perspective.
  • Share Based Compensation matters :  review, design and implementation of incentives schemes from a tax perspective, including co-investment and carried interest structures.
  • Regulatory Compensation matters : review, design and implementation of remuneration policies, in line with the applicable regulatory and legal framework.
  • Personal Tax Controversy matters : assistance to our clients in personal income tax related disputes.
  • Family & Wealth matters : assistance and advising our private clients on succession planning, donations and gift tax.  

What you will be working on

  • Will be working under the supervision of his / her management and seniors on GMPS Tax Advisory projects.
  • Will prepared research and work  on GMPS Tax Advisory projects
  • Will provide, under the supervision of his / her senior team members and management, personal tax and social security advise to his / her clients within the GMPS Tax Advisory area i.e., compensation & benefits, cash and equity-based schemes, design of efficient remuneration packages, etc., and their related cross-border implications
  • Will provide, and advise to private clients in the following areas: inheritance tax, donations, life insurances, etc.
  • Will conduct technical tax research to support both compliance and advisory deliverables.
  • Will search to work with an established management team who will develop his / her skills and knowledge
  • Will search to build on his / her personal tax know-how with advisory and planning for clients under the guidance of senior team members and the GMPS management team.

What we look for

  • A Master's degree in Law, Economics, Tax or equivalent
  • A first experience in a similar function is an asset
  • Organization and confidence in its ability to deliver the expected level of service to our clients
  • Learning agility and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Fluent in English and French
