Job Description

Manager in Insurance Transformation

 

We are looking for a Manager to join our established and growing Management & Regulatory Consulting practice. In this role, you will contribute to transformation projects within the Insurance sector, with a focus on new business models and tech-enabled change. Our clients include leading insurers and banks in Luxembourg and across Europe.

What you will be working on

1. Strategic Client Advisory and Project Delivery

-Manage transformation initiatives – Support the delivery of complex, large-scale projects for clients in the insurance sector, with a strong focus on technology-enabled strategies.
-Support set-up of new (re)insurance entities – Coordinate key workstreams such as regulatory applications, governance structuring, and operational implementation.
-Build strong client relationships – Act as a trusted advisor on project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and alignment with client needs.

2. Team Collaboration, Development, and Knowledge Sharing

-Coordinate cross-functional teams – Work with colleagues across disciplines to deliver integrated solutions tailored to client challenges.
-Support talent development – Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members, contribute to knowledge sharing, and help foster a collaborative team culture.

3. Market Intelligence and Contribution to Business Development

-Contribute to industry insights – Participate in research and analysis of evolving trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the insurance sector.
-Support business development activities – Contribute to proposals, presentations, and client meetings, helping expand relationships and identify opportunities.

What we look for

  • Experience: 5–6 years of experience in consulting, business analysis, or project management within the insurance sector, with a strong focus on tech-driven transformation projects.
  • Domain Expertise: Sound knowledge of life/non-life/reinsurance, operations, business processes, leading insurance IT systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Project Management & Leadership: Proven experience managing projects in a consulting environment or insurance company, with strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, presentation, and client management skills, with a results-oriented mindset and commitment to client success.
  • Languages: Fluency in French and English is required; proficiency in Luxembourgish or German is an asset.
  • Educational Background: A master’s degree in finance, economics, management, IT, engineering, or a related field.
