We are seeking an Assistant Manager / Manager.
The iTax team specializes in guiding clients through the complexities of cross-border investments, offering tailored solutions for international tax compliance and reporting. With expertise in tax treaties, withholding taxes, and tax-efficient investment structuring, we deliver top-tier services to clients in the alternative investments sector.

We are looking for a Manager to lead impactful client engagements and provide expert tax advisory, shaping the future of global investment strategies.

What you will be working on

• Immerse yourself in exciting and varied projects within the Alternative Investments sector, including Real Estate, Private Equity, and Infrastructure.
• Utilize your deep understanding of Private Equity structures and investments to drive success for our clients.
• Create clear and effective investor tax reporting schemes across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance and clarity.
• Assess tax impacts, navigate evolving tax laws, and provide strategic guidance to help our clients thrive in a dynamic regulatory landscape.
• Contribute to the continuous development of our tax and advisory practice, shaping our services and delivering excellence.
• Work alongside prestigious clients in alternative investments through the extensive KPMG Network, broadening your professional influence.
• Foster trust and deliver exceptional value to our international client base, enhancing our global partnerships.
• Manage, supervise, and mentor a young, dynamic, and highly skilled team, promoting a culture of growth and collaboration.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across KPMG worldwide, encouraging knowledge sharing and opening doors to collaborative opportunities.

What we look for

• You hold a degree in Economics, Finance, or Tax Law, complemented by at least 5 years of experience in a similar tax advisory role.
• You bring solid expertise in the European tax landscape, with specific experience in the Alternative Investment sector.
• You have a strong understanding of tax reporting structures for alternative investment products and can communicate these effectively.
• You demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude, thriving in a collaborative environment while maintaining efficiency and accuracy under pressure.
• You possess exceptional logical and analytical reasoning skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• You are fully committed to mentoring colleagues, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.
• You are fluent in English, and proficiency in German is a valuable asset.
