Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Adviser / Assistant Manager to join our Regulatory & Strategy team

Join a growing team working at the intersection of regulation, strategy and transformation. You will help financial institutions navigate complex EU and Luxembourg regulatory requirements, from licensing and market entry to target operating models, governance and regulatory gap assessments, while translating regulatory change into practical business solutions and supporting engagement with supervisory authorities.

What you will be working on

  • Manage Regulatory & Strategy projects, with limited involvement from senior management, across topics such as licensing and authorisation, market entry, target operating model and governance design, regulatory impact and gap assessments, remediation, business model assessments and financial forecasting
  • Conduct impact analysis on evolving EU and Luxembourg regulatory frameworks and supervisory expectations, including MiFID II/MiFIR, CRR/CRD, PSD2/PSD3/PSR, DORA, MiCA, EMIR, MAR and the broader EU and Luxembourg financial services framework, to identify key challenges and opportunities for banks, investment firms, payment service providers, e-money institutions and PSFs alike
  • Present findings, craft tailor-made solutions, provide practical recommendations and support clients in translating them into actionable implementation plans
  • Engage confidently with senior stakeholders and deliver clear presentations tailored to the audience
  • Develop and contribute to maintain meaningful relationships with our clients and support business development activities, including identifying opportunities and preparing proposals, pitches and other go-to-market material initiatives
  • Manage and coach junior team members, supporting their professional development and guiding them in the delivery of high-quality work
  • Coordinate the involvement of subject matter experts (e.g. AML/KYC, risk and IT) where required

What we look for

  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance or Physics
  • 3-5 years of experience in the financial sector and/or in consulting, ideally with exposure to regulatory, strategy or transformation projects
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and a pragmatic mind-set
  • Fluency in English is required; French and/or German are an advantage
  • A self-starter mindset, a strong interest in financial services and the willingness to build expertise across the EU and Luxembourg regulatory landscape
  • Strong clients focus with the ability to establish and develop lasting and trusting relationships with new and existing clients
