Job Description
We are looking for a Business Solutions Engineer for our Investment Services field
Our Investment Services team is developing an internal platform that supports the management of cross-border fund registrations and regulatory operations. The platform is developed directly with the business teams who use it daily.
We are looking for a business solutions engineer who enjoys working within a business team, understanding operational needs and translating them into practical digital solutions. This is not a traditional IT delivery role: you will work closely with fund regulatory specialists and contribute to both product decisions and technical implementation.
What you will be working on
- Continue the design and development of the platform.
- Work directly with business users to understand processes, identify pain points and define appropriate solutions.
- Translate regulatory and operational requirements into maintainable product features.
- Develop workflows for fund registrations, regulatory filings, publications, billing and client reporting.
- Build and improve front end interfaces for operational teams.
- Develop backend services, APIs and business logic using C# and .NET.
- Design data models and queries.
- Develop document generation, classification and processing capabilities.
- Contribute to AI-assisted features using Microsoft Foundry and Azure AI services.
- Write automated tests and participate in testing with business users.
- Support the transition of new features into daily operational use.
What we look for
- At least 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience, preferably on business-critical web applications.
- Proven experience developing full-stack solutions with C#, .NET, ASP.NET and SQL.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with business users and translating operational requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience maintaining and extending an existing application, including understanding unfamiliar code and improving it incrementally.
- Practical experience with data modelling, system integrations, APIs and structured-data processing.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools, such as GitHub Copilot.
- Experience applying software engineering practices such as source control, code reviews and automated testing.
- Experience with Azure or AI services is an advantage.
- Experience in investment funds, financial services, regulatory reporting or workflow automation is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Apache Spark is an advantage.
