Job Description
We are seeking a Senior
In the context of the expansion of our valuation center of excellence, we are seeking Valuation Specialists to join our team. The successful candidate will be supporting various departments in reviewing and assessing the valuations of private equity, private debt, infrastructure, and venture capital prepared by clients. This role requires a deep understanding of valuation methodologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively. The successful candidate will be collaborating with multiple teams internally, lead or participate to client meetings with deal teams and key stakeholders.
What you will be working on
- Review and assess whether valuations are prepared in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct thorough analysis to validate the assumptions and methodologies used in the valuations.
- Contribute to the preparation of detailed findings reports.
- For experienced candidates: conduct client-facing activities, including making presentations to clients, interviewing deal teams, and providing constructive feedback to clients and audit teams.
- Experienced candidates may provide valuation trainings internally and externally.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments that may impact valuations.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
What we look for
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- An advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is required for experienced candidates.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in valuation, financial analysis, or a related field is required for experienced candidates.
- Strong understanding of valuation methodologies and financial modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of IPEV (International Private Equity and Venture Capital Valuation) guidelines is required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, Capital IQ).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and client management skills.
