We are seeking an SoQM Manager/Senior Manager
Our dedicated System of Quality Management (SoQM) team plays an essential role in ensuring that our audit and assurance services meet the highest standards.
Working at the heart of our firm's quality strategy, the SoQM team oversees the operation of our System of Quality Management based on the International Standard of Quality Management 1 (ISQM 1). ISQM1 applies to firms that perform audits or reviews of financial statements, as well as other assurance or related services engagements. This global standard requires firms to identify and address quality risks within a comprehensive system of quality management.
What you will be working on
You support firm management by conducting risk assessment and overseeing the ongoing operation of controls, incl. regular status reporting to senior management. As a contact point for control owners/operators in case of questions or issues, you will obtain an in-depth understanding of the firm’s SoQM (processes and controls) and interact with various departments and the global network.
You will have the opportunity to shape processes in our growing team and beyond, become a business champion for our SoQM GRC tool (Governance, Risk, Compliance) and follow regular SoQM methodology training and reporting requirements of the global KPMG network.
What we look for
- At least 4 years of experience working in quality management, internal control or auditing
- Strong analytical and communication skills with an interest in technology/automatization
- Qualification in or knowledge of QM-Systems, e.g. ISO 9001, is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently, good team player, strong problem-solving skills and attention to details
- Good command of MS-Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Visio (for process flowcharting- not required but is considered as an asset)
- You are fluent in English, good knowledge of French is considered an asset.
