Job Description

We are seeking a Tax Assistant Manager/Manager – GMPS Tax Advisory 
KPMG’s Global Mobility & People Services (GMPS) practice brings together a great variety of tax, technology, payroll, immigration, tax & HR advisory and mobile administration services to support companies in improving their business processes and allow their sustainable growth.

What you will be working on

  • Will be leading a portfolio of key GPMS Tax Advisory client accounts (local and / or global).
  • Will be the first point of contact for the assigned key GPMS Tax Advisory client accounts.
  • Will be responsible for the management and expansion of the assigned key GPMS Tax Advisory client accounts.
  • Will manage GMPS Tax Advisory projects end-to-end, with the guidance of the GMPS leadership. Those projects will encompass, executive compensation, share-based compensation, regulatory compensation, controversy and family & wealth matters.
  • Will train, guide and coach his / her team members during the GMPS Tax Advisory projects.
  • Will train, coach, and provide technical knowledge and support to his / her team members.
  • Will help the GMPS leadership to continuously seek ways to improve (among other) the GMPS Tax Advisory stream.

What we look for

  • Has an experience from 4 to 7 years in a similar function.
  • Has a thorough experience in Luxembourg personal income tax and social security matters and has a good understanding of international tax and social consideration.  
  • Has an experience in executive compensation matters.
  • Has an experience in drafting and implementing local and international share-based compensation schemes.
  • Experience in Regulatory Compensation and Family & Wealth matters is considered as an advantage.  
  • Is organized and confident in his / her ability to deliver the expected level of service to our clients, with the expected level of quality and within the expected deadlines.
  • Is autonomous and able to be the first point of contact to our clients.
  • Is open minded in his / her work approach, displays a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and is able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Is driven, client focused, acts as a team player and has learning agility and analytical mindset.
  • Is proficient in English. French, German or Luxembourgish is considered as an advantage.
