What it's like to be a Trainee/Junior Tax Consultant at KPMG Luxembourg

From day one, you’ll be hands-on:

✅ Turn what you’ve learned in class into real-world tax and accounting expertise.

✅ Dive into different areas of Tax, including:

• Tax compliance and reporting
• Tax structuring and planning advisory
• Regulatory compliance and strategy optimization
• International tax planning
• Transfer pricing and documentation
• Mergers and acquisitions tax advisory
• VAT and indirect tax consulting
• Accounting and financial reporting

✅ Specialize in areas such as Direct Corporate Tax, VAT (Indirect Tax), Transfer Pricing, Personal Tax and Accounting Services.

✅ Collaborate on international projects with clients from various industries.

✅ See how Tax meets AI and Tech.

What we look for

We’re looking for ambitious, curious, and motivated people ready to crush it. If this sounds like you:

• Start date: anytime between January and April 2027 (for final-year internship), and September 2027 (for permanent full-time junior position).
• Education: Graduate or final-year student of a Bachelor's or Master's programs in Tax Law, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Management, Audit, or related fields.  
• Languages: Fluent in English, proficiency in French, German, or Luxembourgish is an asset.
• Skills: Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, problem-solving, people skills.
